God is the one presence and power in my life.
We
may turn to others when making important decisions, trusting that their
wisdom and experience will help guide us in making the right choices.
We may also make a choice based on fear or indecision rather than sound
judgment. Whatever is before me today, this I know: God is the one presence and
one power that I can trust absolutely. God is my light, my wisdom, my
source of inspiration and guidance. Even in the darkest moments of my
life, God is with me, holding my hand and leading me to my highest good. I no longer give control to things or other people: God is the one presence and power in my life.
My
speech and my proclamation were not with plausible words of wisdom, but
with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power.—1 Corinthians 2:4
