I bravely accomplish what is mine to do.
When
I face something new or daunting, it helps to think of toddlers
learning to walk. They stand, take a few steps, then fall. Then they do
it again. With persistence and courage, they soon are toddling around
the house. I remember I was once the child taking those first
steps. That bravery born in me is still with me, and I can call it forth
at any time. By trusting in my inner strength, I do whatever I am
called to do with confidence. Focused on the task at hand, my courage
and persistence dispel any fear. As I summon my inner strength, I find all the bravery I need. I rise to any challenge, keep growing, and keep going.
I
hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or
dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.—Joshua 1:9
