Children are among our greatest blessings.
Each
of us is born in absolute purity. We grow, we see and learn, and we are
in a constant state of wonder. One of the greatest blessings we can
receive from children is to witness their awe as they discover the world
in which they live. Jesus encouraged us to be as little
children—to live in faith and fascination and childlike innocence.
Children remind me of what is truly important: love, laughter, openness,
acceptance, and delight. I live my life much more richly and fully as I
remember to approach all my circumstances with the freshness and
excitement of a child. Life is a wonder, and children are among our greatest blessings.
Let
the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such
as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.—Matthew 19:14
