Let Go Let God be Protected

I am Divinely Protected. 

Nothing can ever harm me because I am always shielded by God’s loving care. I remember this Truth whenever I feel vulnerable and exposed. At these times, I take heart. I am comforted knowing that God, the one power and presence, is always within and around me. No matter what is happening in my environment or in my relationships, it cannot touch what is present within me. God’s protecting love lifts me and calms my thoughts. I repeat soothing affirmations at those times I feel anxious or afraid. This simple act keeps me focused on God and centered in the spiritual presence that is always with me, protecting and guiding me.

And you will have confidence, because there is hope; you will be protected and take your rest in safety.—Job 11:18

Let Go Let God Be Open to Grace

I Open my Heart to the Grace of God. 

Grace pours into my life when I open my heart to the goodness and light of God, especially during a dark time. I don’t make grace happen, but I can choose to be open to it. Grace seems to come unbidden, but my receptivity welcomes its presence as an outpouring of love-filled energy and wholeness that I can feel in my heart. Sometimes my greatest learning and growth comes from what seem to be setbacks or mistakes. That’s when I experience grace. Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh has written, “No mud, no lotus,” which means that the soul blossoms through its difficulties and trials. Grace is the power that sees me through tough times and leads me into new strengths and new learning.

Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show mercy to you.—Isaiah 30:18

Let Go Let God Sing Hosanna

With Joy, Love, and Faith, I Celebrate my Growing Christ Awareness. 

Shouts of “Hosanna!” arise as the people cover the dusty road with palm branches, greeting Jesus with great enthusiasm as he rides a donkey into Jerusalem, according to the Gospel stories. Spiritually understood, the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem symbolizes the dawning of Christ awareness in the heart of humankind. The crowd’s shouts of “Hosanna!” represent prayers that this dawning Christ awareness be protected and nurtured. I reflect on this powerful story, seeing in myself both the dawning Christ awareness and the shouting crowd of thoughts responding to the Christ light. On this Palm Sunday, my heart sings “Hosanna!” I celebrate the growing Christ awareness in the Jerusalem of my soul.

Blessed is the coming kingdom of our ancestor David! Hosanna in the highest heaven!—Mark 11:10

Let Go, Let God

I Yield to the Source of Divine Wisdom. 

When I realize I have been attempting to push through life’s circumstances alone, I begin to gently release my grasp and yield to the greater, all-knowing source of light and love that is always with me. I am grateful for God’s help. Letting go reduces anxiety and allows me to relax into an increasingly more patient and receptive state of mind. It is a natural process for me to release each breath fully to continue breathing easily. The letting go must come first. Likewise, when I let go of burdens of struggle, resentment, or worry, I open my heart and mind to receive the inexhaustible inflow of good. I let go and let God in order to lighten my load and make my path easier to travel.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits.—James 3:17

Let Go Let God be a Reflection

I am a Glorious Reflection of the Divine within me. 

The moon reflecting across a still lake is a beautiful, tranquil sight as the brightness of the moon illuminates the water below. When I look in a mirror, I see an image of my body, but I know there is more to me than what I see in the mirror. As I look within and explore my mind and the depths of my being, I discover another image, that of my spiritual nature. This image is a reflection of God, an expression of light, life, love, and power. Further exploring this Truth, I see myself as wise, whole, loving, peaceful, and fully capable. I relish the Truth that I am a divine being, able to do all things through the infinite qualities within myself. I know that my reflection of my inner being grows continually brighter and more beautiful as I let my light shine.

He is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact imprint of God’s very being.—Hebrews 1:3

Let Go Let God Support World Peace

I Take Action to Support World Peace. 

What can I do to contribute to world peace? Even asking myself this question shows I am adding my support to the pursuit of peace in our world community. As I listen for answers, some come quickly and others trickle in throughout the day. I remember when I have moved into a more peaceful state of mind and what helped me get there. I may have received a supportive word when I especially needed one or an offer of help from a stranger or a surprise call from a friend. Personal action toward world peace happens when I give or receive unconditional support—a sign of our connectedness. Every time I reach out to help someone, say a prayer, or attend a gathering of people in support of a peaceful world, I act upon my desire and take responsibility for furthering peace.

Peace be to the whole community.—Ephesians 6:23

Let Go Let God with Laughter

I Laugh and Bring Forth the Joy of God. 

Children express joy effortlessly. Today I take a cue from children and share joy through my laughter. This expression of pure happiness increases my awareness of God because it allows me to fully experience and share my divinity. When I am joyful, I enter the kingdom of heaven within myself. Laughter shifts me into a playful and more childlike state of being. Even if it lasts only for a moment or two, laughter takes me out of my worldly thoughts and brings me fully into the present. I bring forth the essence of God as I laugh and feel pure happiness, which attracts other people to me. I share my laughter and my happiness as my lively energy catches on and draws all those around me into the experience of joy.

He will yet fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips with shouts of joy.–Job 8:21
