Let Go Let God Forgive

I Am Willing To Forgive.

In Luke’s gospel, Jesus is so attuned to divine love that he asks forgiveness for those who are putting him to death. Jesus’ example inspires me to release any resentment, bitterness, or anger I feel, no matter how much I believe those feelings are justified. I recognize that unwillingness to forgive blocks my awareness of love’s flow. If the burden of resentment is so overwhelming that I feel I cannot forgive, my willingness opens the way. I am willing to forgive. I hold this thought, repeating it silently each time the memory of a past hurt arises, feeling my willingness grow stronger with each repetition. I feel renewed peace and joy as the strength of divine love heals my heart and releases unforgiveness. I forgive, and I am free.

Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.”—Luke 23:34

Let Go Let God Through Grace

Grace Makes My Every Act A Prayer.

The power of grace enters each moment through my prayerful intention. I can make even ordinary experiences shine with new radiance by making every act a prayer. On Maundy Thursday, Jesus shared an experience of grace with his disciples by breaking bread with them, washing their feet, and praying together with them in the garden. Through his focused intention, these simple acts were imbued with a mighty vibration, giving them greater power and making the ordinary extraordinary. Today I connect with that same indwelling grace, wherein God and I are one. I treat every interaction as a divine appointment. Each meeting is an opportunity to bestow my grace upon another. My experiences keep my heart in the infinite presence of God.

As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love.—John 15:9

Let Go Let God Behold Divine Order

As I Release What No Longer Serves Me, The Christ In Me Arises Anew.

Holy Week marks one of the most sacred times of the year for Christians, filled with heartfelt traditions and beautiful ceremonies. It also marks events that brought people from the heights of joy to the depths of despair and back again in a matter of days. Sometimes I find myself navigating similar feelings as I journey through life’s tragedies and triumphs. Getting in touch with what is underneath outward appearances gives me clarity to behold a deeper truth in every situation, a divine law at work that informs my experiences. I can learn so much from the orderly pattern of crucifixion and resurrection. Though I may not be able to see the entire picture right now, I stand strong in faith, trusting that what falls away creates space for the rebirth of my Christ light every day.

Open my eyes, so that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.—Psalm 119:18

Let Go Let God Follow Faith

The Light Of Faith Leads Me Through The Darkness Of Doubt.

My faith is easy to follow during times of contentment and ease. I do not question my path and feel in effortless harmony with the world around me. In more challenging times, however, my faith may feel harder to hold on to and God may feel far away. I find comfort and inspiration in the story of Jesus’ final days as he wrestled with his doubts. I understand that sometimes fear can temporarily overcome faith during life’s darkest moments. I do not judge myself for a fleeting lack of faith. Instead, I take it as a cue to reaffirm my belief in the goodness of God. Faith is my light when darkness surrounds me. Even if the entirety of my path is not visible, I place my faith in the wisdom and truth of life.

For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith.—1 John 5:4

Let Go Let God Trust Guidance

I Trust And Follow My Guidance.

At times I may feel guided to travel an unexpected or even an unwanted path. In trust, I follow my guidance because I believe I am moving in the direction of my highest good. As I move through these uncharted experiences, the signs marking the way to go may not be obvious. I may not see clearly in times of distress or confusion. I remember Jesus’ moments of uncertainty as Holy Week progressed and how he ultimately followed his guidance. When my guidance is unclear, I reaffirm that my divine intuition is leading me in the direction of spiritual growth. I turn within to discern my next steps and heed a seeming coincidence, a fresh idea, or a feeling of comfort or even discomfort. With trust and in faith, I follow where my path leads.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.—Psalm 119:105

Let Go Let God Celebrate Palm Sunday

I Celebrate And Welcome The Christ.

Palm Sunday begins Holy Week and commemorates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Although he arrived humbly, seated upon a donkey colt, the excitement of the gathered crowd amplified the celebration as they waved palms and shouted. Spiritually, the crowds represent humanity joyously responding to the presence of the Christ among them. Jerusalem symbolizes a place of perfect peace. Today I celebrate and claim this peace as my own, as the awareness of the Christ dawns in me. With each prayer on my lips and every thought in my mind, I celebrate and welcome the Christ of my being anew.

So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord—the King of Israel.”—John 12:13

Let Go Let God With Imagination

My Imagination Shapes My Dreams.

Looking back over the events of my life, I realize that many of my most wondrous blessings began in my heart as treasured hopes and dreams. These dreams are the products of my imagination, my spiritual gift of creativity. I am richly blessed by the imagery from my mind’s eye, the nudges of intuition, and the desires of my heart, all of which have helped lead me in the direction of my most dearly held wishes. My imagination is always at work, giving form to my heart’s desires for love, belonging, health, and prosperity. I cooperate with this creative gift, using it to imagine where I next want this life to take me. In complete trust and with deep gratitude, I imagine blessings yet to come.

So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.—Genesis 1:27
