Let Go Let God provide Comfort

I am comfortable in any new or challenging situation.

 

Life is perpetually calling me to greater expressions of my Christ Potential. While times of rest provide essential nourishment during my life journey, occasionally, I may catch myself lingering for too long in the safety of the known. Am I stuck in a rut? Am I striving for my full potential? Spirit is calling me to seek out opportunities for growth. I might elect to take on a hobby, join a community, or some other commitment that invites me to more fully express my God-given gifts. Taking on challenges as well as squarely meeting the ones before me helps me to build fortitude and flexibility. By being willing to get out of my comfort zone, I expand my horizons, gaining confidence to handle new, unexpected situations.

But strive for the greater gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way.—1 Corinthians 12:31

Let Go Let God be Fearless

I am fearless and free to be me.

 

Doing new things, exploring places, or meeting different people might seem overwhelming at times. But if I feel unsure, I take a moment to reconnect with God, my source of strength and peace. Turning within, I feel the presence of God and my confidence is renewed. I can do anything I set my mind to do and do it with a sense of fearlessness because I am never alone. God is always with me. As I pray about any challenge or obstacle, I remember there is only one presence and one power in the universe, God the Good. Keeping this truth uppermost in mind, I remain strong and courageous. I am confident. I am able to act with decisiveness and peace of mind. I am fearless and free to be me.

Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.—1 Peter 5:7

Let Go Let God through Reflection

I reflect on my oneness with God and give thanks.

 

I am ever-evolving, taking in countless sights, sounds, and information every day. While it is important that I continue to be open to the world around me, it is also important that I stop and reflect on all that I have learned and experienced. In prayer, I reflect on who I am as a child of God and who I want to be as an individual. In prayer, my heart is open to all that God reveals to me. I see how strong I have become through the ups and downs, joys and disappointments of life. These experiences have made me strong and capable. I emerge from my time of reflection with a new appreciation of who I am spiritually and the ways I contribute to the world.

Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.—Joshua 1:9

Let Go Let God know Prosperity

As I give, I receive.

 

I may have noticed that when I feel grateful or happy I also feel prosperous regardless of my finances. This is because prosperity comes from within. I build this attitude by looking for the good in every encounter. If I cannot immediately see the good, I ask Spirit to show it to me. For example, in the midst of a challenging meeting or difficult conversation, I ask for the good to be revealed. I tell myself not to be reactive while I calmly wait for divine guidance that may show itself as a feeling of lightness, humor, or compassion. This is prosperity in action! From within the sanctuary of my being, the light shines within me and true treasure is found as inner peace and joy. As I give of myself, so I receive.

For which is greater, the gold or the sanctuary that has made the gold sacred?—Matthew 23:17

Let Go Let God in Gratitude

I share my gratitude freely with others and my happiness increases.

 

Recent scientific studies show that a grateful outlook on life yields a higher happiness quotient. With this thought in mind, I reflect on the people, places, experiences, and things for which I am grateful. I give thanks to Spirit for the endless blessings of connection, creativity, and awe that this world and its inhabitants provide. I pause and look around or within my own heart to find little gems for which I am grateful and then speak my gratitude. I share my grateful heart freely with others and see how their faces brighten. My joy is contagious and I attract others who are grateful for the boundless gifts of life.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.—Colossians 3:16

Let Go Let God through Acceptance

The brilliant light of my divinity illumines my humanity.

 

I accept every aspect of my humanity because I am the vessel that carries the brilliant light of the Divine into the world. I insure that my thoughts and actions are infused with love and wisdom by first turning within to my Christ Presence. I cast aside any limiting judgments, opinions, or barriers the world might try to heap on me. Through divine eyes, I now understand that decisions and actions that appeared to have been mistakes or failures were just part of my path to know my divinity more fully. I am growing. I am evolving. Nothing about my human self can block the light of Truth seeking to shine through my life. My thoughts celebrate my humanity as I become a reflection of God in the world.

What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people.—John 1:3-4

Let Go Let God as Unlimited Potential

Spirit is my source of unlimited potential.

 

The physical world and human body in which I live may appear to have limitations. But in truth, I am more than appearances: I am unlimited. I am a spiritual being having a human experience. I am created in the image and likeness of God and have been blessed with potential. I remind myself that, while I may dwell in the physical world, I am made of spirit. I can use my creative power to align my thoughts with God and center my heart in love. I can transcend my experience through the practice of thinking, speaking, and acting in ways that reflect my true, divine nature. Spirit within is the source of my unlimited potential.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.—Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)

Let Go Let God Know Inner Truth

God-life within assures me that all is well.

 

Deep inside me is a truth I want to know consciously all the time. When I am centered in it, I know all is well in my life and the world. When I am aware of it, there is no room for struggle or problems of any kind. I find it in the place the psalmist called “the secret place of the Most High.” I simply become still and rest my attention on God-life within. Then I, too, discover this secret place where the highest truth dwells. I meet God at the core of my being. Here I find solace, passion, joy, and a sense of oneness with all life. Resting in the Silence, I hear and see through spiritual ears and eyes. No matter the circumstances of life, I know this deeply seeded and ever-available truth: God is here and all is well.

You desire truth in the inward being; therefore teach me wisdom in my secret heart.—Psalm 51:6

Let Go Let God with New Habits

I commit to higher expressions of speech, thought, and action.

 

Aristotle taught, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” To be the best expression of the Christ that I can be, I revisit my behaviors and routines. Where needed, I replace unhealthy habits with life-affirming ones. If I find that I regularly complain, I make a concerted effort to express gratitude. If I have lapsed into mindless routines, such as snacking or binge-watching television, I insert a new activity into that same time slot, such as walking, reading, praying, or meditating. As I consciously replace ineffective habits with more constructive ones, I feel happier, more peaceful, and energetic—more like my true self—each day.

Put these things into practice, devote yourself to them, so that all may see your progress.—1 Timothy 4:15

Let Go Let God through Healing

The healing life of God renews and strengthens me.

 

Life can be exhilarating, yet exhausting, which is why times of rest are important to my mental and physical well-being. I take time each day to rest and recharge my spiritual battery by spending time in prayer. In the quiet of prayer, I affirm: The healing life of God renews me. My body relaxes in the safety of God’s presence; I am comforted and soothed by God’s healing touch. My mind and body are in unity with God’s healing life. The healing life of God strengthens me. In unity with God’s healing life, I feel that life flowing through every cell and organ of my body, strengthening me and making me whole and well. With faith I affirm: The healing life of God renews and strengthens me.

Be renewed in the spirit of your minds.—Ephesians 4:23

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

God’s kingdom of light and love is established in our hearts.

 

Myrtle Fillmore suggested that our thoughts should be used “bringing God’s kingdom of light and love and order and beauty and health into the earth, into the lives of all people.” Like Myrtle, I seek to serve the world by seeing the perfection of God revealed in everyone. Centering myself in the presence of Spirit, I bring my loved ones and all those I pray with to mind. I do so with the awareness that the radiating Christ Presence within is greater than any outer circumstances. God’s kingdom of light and love is established in my heart as I affirm that divine love flows to them and through them. I see my loved ones strengthened, revitalized, guided, and supported in every area of their lives.

We, for our part, will devote ourselves to prayer and to serving the word.—Acts 6:4

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

My light shines as confidence and understanding.

 

Elisabeth Kübler-Ross wrote, “People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.” I am guided by divine light, in good times and in difficult times. This light illumines my path and gives me the inner strength and confidence to move forward without fear or concern. As I become more attuned to divine light, I become more insightful and intuitive. I am more conscious of God’s direction, leading me to wise choices. With my path illumined, I am confident that all will be revealed to me at the right time and in the right way.

For it is the God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.—2 Corinthians 4:6

Let Go Let God with Wise Choices

I choose to contribute positive energy to the world.

The dawn of each new day presents fresh possibilities. I have choices to make that will positively or negatively affect my life and the lives of others. Choice is a God-given gift. I am free to choose my words and actions—even my attitude. I strive to make wise choices that create balance in my life by first turning to God-life within. Together God and I make decisions that bolster my inner peace, fortify my body, and allow me to more fully express my divine nature. I make choices that promote healthy finances, successful work, and harmony in relationships. Today I set an intention to contribute my positive energy to the world.

 

The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.—Matthew 6:22

Let Go Let God as Joy

With joy radiating from my heart, I celebrate my life!

 

A quote by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin shares, “Joy is the infallible sign of the presence of God.” Most days I feel God’s presence as a sense of happiness welling up within me. In trying times the illusion of discontent can appear to steal my bliss. Any turmoil I experience is only temporary for nothing is stronger than the eternal and divine presence of Spirit. The truth is that joy is my natural state of being, always in my heart, ready to be expressed. I allow the natural expression of joy to strengthen and sustain me. Life is to be cele-brated, particularly when I shine the light of divine happiness wherever I go! When I express joy, I am reflecting my divine heritage. God’s love fills my heart to overflowing. I AM joy! I AM life! I AM love!

The joy of the Lord is your strength.—Nehemiah 8:10

Let Go Let God with Dynamic Energy

The dynamic energy of Spirit is constantly at work in my life.

 

Spirit in me is always active. Sometimes it may feel powerful and full, like the rush of great waterfalls. Other times it may feel quiet and gentle, like a flowing stream. I know the dynamic energy of Spirit is continually inspiring, creating, and renewing my mind and body. When I feel all out of ideas, Spirit is still that spring of revitalization within me. I calm any thoughts of lack with each deep breath. I feel the energy of Spirit stir within me. I open my mind to a new perspective on any situation troubling me. I find renewed courage to begin again. I discover the strength to persevere in my efforts. I forgive any harm I perceive and allow healing to permeate every aspect of my life.

Who satisfies you with good as long as you live so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.—Psalm 103:5

Let Go Let God Surrender to Inner Peace

I surrender to the peace of God within.

 

Today I consider my definition of peace. Is it lack of conflict or fear in my life, or is it something more? Does serenity come through the absence of worries, or am I just exchanging one set of fears for another? Still, the peace of God surpasses all understanding. I am divinely assured that I can let go of worries or fears because God is in charge. I surrender to the peace of God within. I feel God’s loving presence all around me, loving me and keeping me safe. I let God guide my words and actions, knowing that God is using me as a conduit for goodwill. As I surrender to the peace of God within, I am filled with peace in mind and heart. God comforts me and soothes my soul.

The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds.—Philippians 4:7

Let Go Let God on My Journey

I live my life courageously and fully.

 

My journey through life is an adventure, some parts predictable, others totally unexpected. I may venture down one path only to be diverted to another route. I begin my day, or my venture, in prayerful awareness of Spirit. I open to guidance and direction. I look for and find the blessings in all my circumstances. Through loving service and acknowledgment of the value of others, I become a blessing in their lives too. In partnership with Spirit, I make courageous choices. I live fully, filled with excitement and intrigue for what lies ahead. My spirit of adventure welcomes any divergence in the path ahead, for wherever I may go, God goes with me, and all is well.

For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in faithfulness to you.—Psalm 26:3

Let Go Let God through Grace

I live in the grace of God.

 

Grace may appear in my life as forgiveness, a way through a seemingly insurmountable challenge, other people, or a divinely inspired idea. Grace is evidence of the love of God that, while unearned, is still freely given. It often comes to me in ways totally unexpected and at the time it is most needed. I am surrounded and enfolded in God’s love. One of the most beautiful ways that God’s love reveals to me is through grace. While I cannot do anything to earn that grace, I can hold to the faith that what God wants for me is always in my best interests. Whatever my circumstances seem to be, I look for the seed of blessing contained within. I find a confirmation of God’s love in ways that sometimes seem miraculous.

But each of us was given grace according to the measure of Christ’s gift.—Ephesians 4:7

Let Go, Let God

God directs and guides me.

 

What is the difference between letting go and just giving up? The difference is found when I am focused on the divine life within. God is my guiding light that steers my soul in a positive direction of spiritual growth and steadies my course. By letting go and letting God guide my way, I find myself pulled toward greater wisdom and awareness. Right now, I place my attention on the presence of God within me. God is a magnetic power that is drawing my soul up higher. I quiet­ly breathe in, affirming: I let go and breathe out with the words: I let God. With each breath, I am being pulled in the direction of my highest good and greatest growth.

I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.—Psalm 32:8

Let Go Let God all is in Divine Order

God is in charge, and all is well.

 

Sometimes my life feels like a jigsaw puzzle, and I am constantly looking for the right piece to put in the right place. Whenever I feel this way I take time to pray and reconnect with God. I know that underneath it all, divine order reigns. God is in charge! I am comforted by this knowledge. All is well with me and my world. In any circumstance I face, I can affirm God is in charge and feel peaceful and protected. I don’t need to control. When I release the need to do things my way, I discover that every little detail falls into place, as if it were meant to be. And just like the pieces of a puzzle form a complete picture, the pieces of my life come together to create the life I want to live.

But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than any human authority.”—Acts 5:29

Let Go Let God See World Peace

I see the world encircled in love and peace.

 

Watching the news can make it challenging to imagine the possibility of attaining world peace. To envision such an outcome—a world united in love—takes faith. I do my part in manifesting world peace by recognizing times when I harbor negative—even harmful—thoughts in my own consciousness. I invite my heart and mind to be purified through prayer. As I release my focus on images of conflict and violence, I turn my attention to reminders of love, healing, and redemption. With faith in the infinite love and power of Spirit, I envision a harmonious world. Right here and now, I picture the world encircled in love and peace. My faith-filled vision helps manifest this world into reality.

Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace—in peace because they trust in you.—Isaiah 26:3

Let Go Let God Forgive

I love and forgive myself.

 

Forgiveness is an important step along my spiritual path. While I may need to forgive another, I realize that forgiving myself is a necessary part of my road to wholeness. Jesus instructed, “Love one another. Just as I have loved you” (John 13:34). Inherent in that love is the ability to forgive. Focused on the healing love of God that flows through me, I release every thought or feeling of unforgiveness. When I do so, something incredible happens. The love and understanding that soothes and heals me reaches out to bless others. Forgiveness clears my way. I am free to love and be loved because I forgive.

Anyone whom you forgive, I also forgive. What I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sake in the presence of Christ.—2 Corinthians 2:10

Let Go Let God with Resilience

I am flexible. I am resilient.

As I ponder the spiritual quality of resilience, I am reminded of the beautiful willow tree that sways in the wind but does not break. The resilience of the willow tree is a powerful example of how it is possible to be stable, strong, and flexible. In order for me to be healthy and strong through any challenge, I must also remain flexible. I remember to stay open to the support that Spirit offers me on my spiritual path. Rather than closing myself off, I trust in God. I surrender my thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes and gain a deeper understanding of who I am. I become more flexible and open in my thinking. Centered in God, I open the way for possibilities to enter my life. I am flexible. I am resilient.

They are like trees planted by streams of water.—Psalm 1:3

Let Go Let God Build Self-Esteem

I accept and respect myself.

 

At times we all face challenges we cannot overcome without help. Admitting that a situation seems beyond our control can be the first step toward positive results. Accepting ourselves even if we make a mistake is an act of love and respect that builds self-esteem. Henry Ford—who admittedly failed many times—said, “Failure is the opportunity to begin again, more intelligently.” Life is a progression of learning, trying, starting over, and realizing more of our divine potential. Our spiritual nature holds the seeds of wisdom, success, and love. As we recognize our own spiritual qualities, we feel good about our endeavors and love ourselves even though we will always have lessons to learn.

For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.—2 Timothy 1:7

Let Go Let God Encourage Others

I allow divine love to flow through me to bless others.

 

When I pray for others, I affirm that divine love is guiding their way. I give them the blessing of my presence, companionship, love, and support as they discern their own way. In her poem “Child of Light,” Martha Smock wrote: “I see you as a child of light. I see you guided and directed by an inward Spirit that leads you unerringly into the path that is right for you.” With absolute faith, I join my heart with the hearts of those I support. Bringing our energies together in the spirit of cooperation and compassion encourages feelings of goodness, optimism, courage, and strength. The encouragement I extend to others is an expression of divine love working through me to bless them.

For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.—Matthew 18:20

Let Go Let God be Free

I am free to live a full and meaningful life.

 

Theoretically, if a clear barrier is inserted into an aquarium, a fish will attempt to swim through but will eventually adapt to the smaller space. If the barrier is removed, the fish remains confined as though the obstacle remained. Are my habits or perceived obstructions limiting me? I am free to live a full and meaningful life. If fearful thoughts are limiting me or if I’ve grown accustomed to having others tell me “No,” I affirm: I am free to live a full and meaningful life. I have gifts and talents to share, ideas to explore, and dreams to pursue. I accept myself as a child of God having abundant potential and freedom to be my best self.

For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.—Galatians 5:1

Let Go Let God be Protected

God’s loving presence protects me.

 

James Dillet Freeman’s “Prayer for Protection” is a reminder that “the power of God protects me.” I am never alone, for Spirit and I are one. God’s presence is a strength I can call upon at any time when I need it. This is not to say that I won’t ever feel afraid. I am human and part of my emotional response system is fear. I do not judge myself for being scared but instead note when this feeling arises. When I feel fearful, I turn my attention away from the darkness of fear toward the light of divine life within. God is the one power and presence in my life. I have the wisdom to know what needs to be done, the strength to do it, and the faith to overcome any fear.

I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit.—Ephesians 3:16

Let Go Let God with an Open Heart

My heart is open to the flow of life.

 

On a clear day, the ocean surface provides only a glimpse of the activity beneath the surface. Beneath the water, life makes its home in myriad ways. Like the depths of the ocean, my heart is filled with countless energies—love, compassion, and so much more. My heart also remains open to new experiences as part of the continual ebb and flow of life. I gently allow each experience to flow into my open heart. Then, like the tide rising and falling in tandem with the moon, I feel the gentle pull of God’s love calling me inward to bless me then flowing outward from my heart center to bless others. Whether receiving or giving, my heart is open to the flow of life.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.—Matthew 5:8

Let Go Let God All Is Well

I am ready for my next spiritual gift.

 

If I feel that I must wait for things to be “just so” in order to move ahead, I may miss a wonderful opportunity. Right now, I allow myself to be lifted up into my new possibility. The flowers in my garden know how to grow. The sun knows when to rise and set. The wind blows without conscious thought. And when the time is right for new opportunities in my life, I know the way will be revealed to me in due time because all is well. As Jesus said, the lilies and birds do not fret or worry about things, and yet their needs are met. I know right now, I am provided for, even if the outer circumstances may not always show it. Every moment is the perfect moment for taking a step. This point in time is a new opportunity for me.

 

The place on which you are standing is holy ground.—Exodus 3:5

Let Go Let God with this New Day

I am refreshed and renewed in my quiet times with God.

 

When I feel stressed or tired, it may not be easy for me to accomplish all that I would like to do. In order for me to feel vibrant and ready to create positive changes in my life and in the world, I must take time for renewal. I grant myself permission to step away from the “busyness” for physical and spiritual self-care. I do this by getting enough sleep, eating well, having fun, and spending time in prayer with God. In a sacred space of prayer, I feel the serenity of God’s love embracing me. I relax into a sense of peace. I take in a gentle breath and let go of all that has come before this moment. I surrender my entire being completely to the blessed peace of God. I am now able to continue my day refreshed and renewed.

A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you.—Ezekiel 36:26

Let Go Let God in Faith

My faith is in God—the unchanging Source of all good.

 

Wherever I am, God is present. Whether I travel to foreign lands, or I move about my tasks at home or work, the same Infinite Source is readily available. Change may come to relationships, careers, homes, or even to my physical body. Everything around me may change, but my faith remains focused. If I sense something is amiss, it’s my cue that my attention has drifted. In prayer, I return to my center. God is my health, my guidance, my comfort, my strength. God is all this and more. Faith reminds me of all the blessings I have received and assures me of the continued flow from my Source.

If I take the wings of the morning and settle at the farthest limits of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me fast.—Psalm 139:9-10
