I praise others and am blessed in return.
Children
shine when they are praised by parents, teachers, and loved ones. They
beam with pride when they are told they have done well, or when they are
recognized for their talents. Although I am now an adult, I react in
the same way when I am praised—I feel a sense of pride when others
acknowledge my skills. I can give that satisfaction to others by
praising them, so they, too, feel the glow of accomplishment and
appreciation. Today I make a conscious effort to praise others. I point
out their strengths and recognize their abilities. We all enjoy being
acknowledged for our uniqueness and for the gifts we bring to the world.
Today I appreciate others, remembering what a joy it is to be praised!
