I see beauty everywhere I look.
Today
I take time to behold beauty in and around me. I pause to look into the
eyes of my family, friends, and those I meet. My mind may notice only
physical appearance, but I aim to see beauty with my heart. In
each face, I find the story of a life unfolding. I look with the eyes of
my heart, and discover Divine beauty in each person. I notice their
most positive aspect—an attitude, a gesture, a smile. Finding beauty is a
practice that takes time, but I am patient. If I rush or disregard
what’s in front of me, I remember to slow down and perceive the best in
others. As I form this new habit, I am gentle with myself. I gaze
in the mirror and behold the loveliness of Spirit expressing through me.
Beauty is everywhere I look.
Many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see.—Matthew 13:17
