Peace begins with me.
When
conflict arises, I am a beacon of peace. The Christ Light in me shines
brightest when I am aware of my own thoughts and actions. I calm any
unrest in my mind just as Jesus calmed the storm at sea, saying, “Peace!
Be still!” I let thoughts of peace flow into the world. My
thoughts move beyond appearances and seeming separation. I know every
person is part of the same spirit. In times of crisis, I send
prayers of peace to heal the hearts of everyone involved. Where there
is war, I send thoughts of love to soldiers and their families. When I
witness conflict in my community, I envision a peaceful resolution. I
believe in a world of peace. That peace begins with me.
Let them turn away from evil and do good; let them seek peace and pursue it.—1 Peter 3:11
