I attune to God at the center of my being, and I am serene.
During
certain hours of daylight, an object will block the light of the sun so
that the shadow looms larger than the object itself. Challenges are
like that and can seem much greater than they really are. To put all in
the right light—divine light—I keep my attention on God. I have a
resource of serenity that overcomes everyday stresses. I am not
inundated by negative thoughts of “what if?” I open my mind to divine
wisdom and make decisions that are best. I can always rethink a
situation and make corrections in my plans and actions. This keeps me
active and moving forward. I have faith in God and know that I will come
through challenges whole and peace-filled.
By
the tender mercy of our God, the dawn from on high will break upon us
... To guide our feet into the way of peace.—Luke 1:78, 79
