Let Go Let God Forgive

I am the true spirit of forgiveness.

Is there someone I need to forgive? Maybe I think that I am the “unforgivable” one. But is this ever really accurate? The truth about me is that I am a perfect spiritual being. Do I always express my divine nature? Perhaps not. Do other people always express their divine nature? Not always. However, I can still see only good in others and in myself. It is when I lose sight of my divinity that I believe there is anything to be forgiven. To forgive, I become still and connect myself with that perfect presence within me. I feel centered in peace and love. It is from this place that I can freely forgive and be forgiven. Spirit within me heals the pain. I am the true spirit of forgiveness.

One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.—Proverbs 17:9

Let Go Let God in Abundance

I live a life of abundance!

In Truth, there is unlimited substance. Water and air are endlessly recycled, and nature is constantly restoring and renewing the earth’s resources. So, too, divine mind generates infinite ideas, and the universe is ever-expanding. There can always be more. The limiting concept of lack is an invention of the human senses illustrating a disconnect from the workings of universal law. Perception and focus create reality. If I were to make a mental list of everything I don’t have, the universe would align with my belief and show me a world where I always have less. Yet when I choose to see everything in my life as a blessing—even though it may take time to find the gifts in some situations—the world becomes a place of endless generosity.
The pastures of the wilderness overflow ... they shout and sing together for joy.–Psalm 65:12, 13

Let Go Let God in the Silence

In the Silence

Some may consider the Silence a space of emptiness and absence. As I reflect, I am reminded that in the silence of winter, the earth prepares for the abundance of spring. In the silence of space, entire galaxies are born. Silence is truly a field of infinite possibilities. To tap into the divine potential, I pause to clear my thoughts of the clutter and clang of the world. Each breath cleanses my mind of worries, fears, and the endless busyness of trying to figure out what might happen next. I direct my focus toward opening my heart and mind as I melt into the freedom of oneness. There are no barriers separating my mind and the infinite mind of God. Receptive to what will be revealed in the Silence, I claim the infinite possibilities available.
For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him.—Psalm 62:5

Let Go Let God Have Faith

I have faith that I can do all things.

Faith is the building block of everything I set out to do. I build my life on a foundation of faith, sustained by my divine power within. I remind myself that all things are possible. Because I am a divine creation, a spiritual being living in this human body, I can do anything I set my mind to do. When I set a goal, I call upon my inner power to achieve it. I have divine powers of wisdom, understanding, and faith. I am strong and capable because I use these powers as I work toward my goals. Keeping faith in my heart, I am fearless in the face of any challenge. I am courageous and confident as I move through my day, as I continually call upon the powers inherent in my divine nature. I never feel alone drawing upon my innate attributes of God.
For God all things are possible.—Mark 10:27

Let Go Let Go with Inner Peace

I am at peace.

If I find myself rushing through the day, I might find my energy level lagging. It may look like I am accomplishing much, but at what price? I need peace. Inner peace sparks my creativity, providing divine ideas that help organize and accomplish all that I need to do today. I make it a point to recharge and energize through a process of finding and feeling profound inner peace. I begin with meditation as part of my morning routine, and I feel a quiet oneness with Spirit. I take mindful breaths throughout the day. One or two minutes of distraction-free personal time allows me to feel the encouraging presence of Spirit. I have all I need to accomplish my goals. I am at peace.

Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace—in peace because they trust in you.—Isaiah 26:3

Let Go Let God be the Divine Compass

Divine wisdom is my compass.

At times I may focus on a situation out of fear or uncertainty. My breathing and heart rate can be adversely affected by the negativity I am focusing on. This is because my body responds in kind to the thoughts I hold in mind. So I begin my day affirming: Divine wisdom is my compass. I set an intention to focus on the presence of God expressing as me and through all life and situations. I am alive with the presence of God. I am connected to infinite wisdom that empowers me to think, feel, and act in positive, life-affirming ways. I live in the moment with my attention on divine life within me. I have a clear vision of what is, not on what was; of what is possible, not on what seems impossible.

But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear.—Matthew 13:16

Let Go Let God be Empowered

I am empowered to bring my highest good into expression.

The Gospel of John shares how the crippled man at the Pool of Bethesda learned the words and rituals that could lead to his healing, even though he had not been able to achieve that goal. Jesus demonstrated that the true answer was much simpler: “Stand up, take your mat and walk.” The faith demonstrated through the simple act of standing was all that was necessary to overcome the apparent limitations in which he had been living. I may have caused myself great confusion in the past because I believed the power necessary to live a spiritually centered life could be found outside myself. Today I know that I am innately empowered to make the choices that will bring my highest good into expression.
Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.—Joshua 1:9

Let Go Let God in Appreciation

I give thanks for increasing good in my life.

One definition of the word appreciate is to “increase in value.” When I show appreciation for a specific event of my day, its value in my eyes grows. As I make a practice of appreciating all the blessings in my life, I am creating a bank in which I deposit my good thoughts, my blessings. If I come upon a time in my life when I need a spiritual lift, I reflect on my reserve of blessings to remind me of the goodness in my life. As I unwind at night, I take a moment to recall the events of the day. I bring to mind those things that held special meaning and say a prayer of thanks for each one. My appreciation provides a sense of bliss that continually blesses me. I give thanks for increasing good in my life.

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart.—Psalm 9:1

Let Go Let God as Wholeness

I am created whole in order to live free.

At times, humans may make life more complicated by overthinking. No one has to remind the fish he is a fish or to swim in the sea. And no one tries to convince the fish he should be a dolphin or a seagull. The fish simply is. I am created whole. The innate pattern of my divine self is complete and has no flaws. My imprint is entirely unique and cannot be compared to any other pattern. I judge no one and focus on my ability to freely be who I came into the world to be. I do my best to align my thoughts and actions with my divine imprint. When voices in the world judge me or speak of my brokenness, I listen to the still, small voice within me. Turning within, I hear the Truth: I am created whole in order to live free.

Your eyes beheld my unformed substance.—Psalm 139:16

Let Go Let God be Joyful

I am a joyful, radiating center of love.

The lyrics from a beloved hymn share, “Joyful, joyful, we adore thee, God of glory, Lord of love; hearts unfold like flowers before thee, opening to the sun above.” They are reminders that love continues on, just as the sun continues to shine. My heart is like a flower that gently unfolds with the light of God. Each time I pray, each moment I spend time in quiet meditation, I open my heart even further to this powerful light. As I rest in divine awareness, I experience love, peace, and joy moving in and through my mind, body, and heart. I see myself and those around me as beacons of light who are on a path of happiness and fulfillment.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.—Galatians 5:22-23

Let Go Let God with Laughter

I express divine joy through laughter.

Laughter activates the joyful spirit of God within. When I laugh, I feel light and happy. Science reveals that this occurs as laughter decreases stress hormones and increases endorphins, feel-good chemicals, in the brain. Laughter literally changes and improves the way I feel, physically and emotionally. At any time I can redirect my attention from outer circumstances to my inner being. Doing so opens the way for a lightness of heart to fill my being. As laughter brings forth Spirit’s palpable joy within me, I become more aware of my connection to the Divine. My laughter expresses the joyful essence of Spirit within me and reminds me of my oneness with God.
God has brought laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh with me.—Genesis 21:6

Let Go Let God Listen

I listen and hear the voice of Truth within.

Noises are constantly coming to me: conversations, music, television shows. If I’m outside, I might hear birds singing, wind blowing through the trees, or children playing. Whatever sounds I hear around me, there is always another to consider: the voice within me. Divine guidance, my inner voice, is my insight into the direction I should take. If I’m facing a health challenge, I listen to my inner voice and hear the reassurance that I am a divine creation, filled with renewing life and energy. If I’m concerned about finances, I listen to divine ideas that will bring new prosperity to me. With each question of my heart, I listen and receive the assurance that the goodness of the universe is mine.
Let the wise also hear and gain in learning.—Proverbs 1:5

Let Go, Let God

Surrendering all, I open to the free-flowing energy of Spirit.

I often feel a strong sense of harmony and well-being. In those times when I am experiencing stress in my relationships or in the workplace, I may hold on to tension. By pausing and centering myself in a quiet moment, I open to a spiritual solution. Like the lyrics of the song “Water” by Daniel Nahmod suggest, “I want to be like water, flowing where I’m carried by life.” Water takes the path of least resistance and when I surrender all to my divine nature, my life flows with greater ease. I continue to focus my awareness in the present moment, gently breathing in and out. All tension subsides as I open to the free-flowing energy of Spirit.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.—Proverbs 3:5-6

Let Go Let God Receive a Father's Blessing

I bless all those who encouraged my self-discovery, growth, and learning.

In the United States, today is traditionally an opportunity to show appreciation for fatherly influences. I offer a prayer of gratitude for the fathers who provide necessary guidance, strength, and support for their children. Whether or not we had a masculine influence in our lives, it’s encouraging to realize that Spirit lives and moves and has being in every one of us. Spirit encompasses both masculine and feminine aspects. While the softer love associated with a mother seems more appealing, the masculine aspect of the fatherly role as a mentor, a guide, and a supportive presence is also essential to the proper performance of our spiritual purpose. I give thanks for those who encourage self-discovery, growth, and learning.

The righteous walk in integrity—happy are the children who follow them!—Proverbs 20:7

Let Go Let God Awaken

I choose to awaken to divine possibilities!

Every day I have decisions to make: Will I just open my eyes or will I open my soul and truly awaken to the gifts this day holds? I can choose to simply exist, or I can awaken to divine possibility and completely change my life experience. When he reached enlightenment, the Buddha was asked if he was a god or a man. He answered, “I am awake.” Like the Buddha, instead of focusing on labels of humanity or divinity, I focus on awakening to the lesson every situation teaches. I view the world through the eyes of Source and embrace the Oneness that exists in all things. In challenges, I see practical solutions. I choose to awaken!

Besides this, you know what time it is, how it is now the moment for you to wake from sleep.—Romans 13:11

Let Go Let God in Attitude

I express an enthusiastic, positive, and joyful attitude.

There may be days when I feel as though I am merely showing up in the world and not truly living. Yet when I develop a deeper connection to the divine spirit within me, my attitude cannot help but shift. My spiritual nature is reflected outward and becomes the face I share with everyone I meet. Do I find myself having to wait for an appointment or another person? I do so calmly and with a smile. Am I stuck in a traffic jam? This is an opportunity to practice breathing deeply as I affirm: As a spiritual being, peace is inherent in my being. The attitude I choose to express during trying times will make all the difference. I am an expression of God. With this knowledge, I fully embrace a positive attitude.

Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.–Philippians 2:5

Let Go Let God be a Peacemaker

Living as a humble emissary of divine love, I am a peacemaker in my world.

Throughout my day, I may experience or see those affected by pain, anger, or grief. These emotional states may lead to expressions of disharmony and conflict at home and in the world. My heart responds with compassion seeking to bring peace. I begin by affirming we are not separate, but one in the spirit of God. There is no place where the spirit of God is not because all is God. There is a light that surrounds us in all circumstances and a love that overcomes all fear. With awareness of this truth, I view the world through the eyes of divine love. With my ears, I listen to voices that long to be heard. With my voice, I offer prayers of love and comfort. With my feet, I take steps toward helping others in times of need. I am a peacemaker in my world.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.—Matthew 5:9

Let Go Let God as Well-Being

I express my authentic self and live a life of meaning and purpose.

My thoughts and actions affect my well-being and how I feel about myself and my life. Knowing that I have the power to affect positive, fulfilling changes in my life, I begin each day with prayer. I center myself in a quiet place and let go of distraction. Here in the inner stillness of prayer, I listen for inspiration that will guide me to be the person I want to be. As I reflect on the inspiration I receive, I take stock of my life. I set goals: to enrich my relationships with others, to do enjoyable work and take part in purposeful activities, to help where help is needed. As I do these things, I have a sense of belonging and purpose. I know that I am doing good things for myself and others.
The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.—Matthew 6:22

Let Go Let God through Change

Every aspect of my life is aligned with divine order.

Charles Fillmore believed that the spiritual quality of order governs all creation. I can see the organizing principle at work in and throughout all life, including nature. Just as day follows night, my life unfolds in divine order. Even in the midst of change or chaos, I can trust that there is an underlying force for good. Anytime change comes into my life, I pause to remember that divine order underlies everything in the universe. As I relax into this truth, I find peace. With a clear mind and heart, I focus my thoughts upon infinite possibilities, knowing all is in divine order. Any challenge in my life is transformed into an opportunity. I take the next right steps in my life with clarity and ease.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.—Hebrews 13:8

Let Go Let God Provide Direction

My inner light keeps me pointed in the right direction.

When I walk a lighted path at night, it’s easy to see where I’m going. If the lights were not there, I might have to slow my pace so I don’t trip over an obstacle. My life is a journey, and although I may not know what lies ahead, I know my way is illumined by my inner light. Whenever I need clarity on the path I choose, I turn to my divine light within and let it shine in and through me. My regular prayer practice keeps me attuned to my inner light. If I’m not sure of a next step, I spend time in quiet reflection and listen to divine wisdom. The still, small voice reminds me that I am an expression of divine light. I am directed to my good as I follow my inner guidance. I journey through life one step at a time.
You are the light of the world ... Let your light shine.—Matthew 5:14,16

Let Go Let God in Consciousness

I use my creative power for a fulfilling life.

New Thought leader Emmet Fox said, “We have the key to life, and that key is that life is a state of consciousness.” He went on to say, “The great creative Word is I AM. It is the secret of life.” How exciting to know I hold the key to life through my consciousness and the creative power of my words! Whatever I hold in thought, whatever thoughts I connect with my divine nature, I demonstrate in my life. When I connect my consciousness with I AM—the divine power within me—I use my creative power to bring about the good I desire. In God-consciousness, I am continually aware of my divine power. I affirm the truth about myself: I am wise. I am whole. I am love. I am worthy. I am good.

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.—Philippians 4:13

Let Go Let God Through Renewal

I am expressing life and renewal now.

Life unfolds as children go through stages of growth to reach adulthood. Yet our growth continues through adulthood. We continue to increase our knowledge in everyday matters and in new concepts. We are continually being revitalized through an ongoing process of renewal—a healing activity as new cells replace those that have completed their job. We may know only a small portion of the details of the divine plan of life and renewal, however, in prayer and meditation, we make a vital connection to it. Lingering in this awareness, we relax in a time of filling our consciousness with affirmations of healing.

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith.—Colossians 2:6-7

Let Go Let God Relax

I relax into life today!

How often do I allow myself the blessing of relaxation—the type of restfulness when I feel that divine sense of ease and utter contentment? At any time I can relax into the presence of God by making a divine shift in how I use my time. If I am waiting in line, I check in with my muscles, releasing any built-up tension there. In moments between activities, I take a power pause with a few consciously connected breaths. I inhale deeply, feeling cleansing air enter my lungs, and exhale fully, experiencing welcome release. I whisper a prayer of appreciation for the simple and ever-changing beauty of nature. No matter where I am or what I am doing, I can rest in the assurance that all things happen within the Divine.
He said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”—Exodus 33:14

Let Go Let God in the Flow of Prosperity

The divine flow of abundance meets my every need.

Because I am the beloved image and likeness of God, abundance flows from me as a spirit of generosity. Every good possibility comes into view as I connect with the flow of abundance. All avenues of expression are open for me to experience infinite prosperity. The universe is overflowing with all good things—infinite potential, expanding without limit. What this means for me right now is that I am not limited by circumstances. I use my creative energy and divine ideas to open new avenues of prosperity. My world is ordered and overflowing with all that I give and receive. In constant prayer and thanksgiving, I live the prosperous and full life I am meant to live.
See if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing.—Malachi 3:10

Let Go Let God in World Peace

World peace begins with love.

Divine love, both universal and unconditional, is like a magnet that draws only good. There is no person, situation, or experience outside the reach of this love. Although we appear as unique, diverse individuals, we are all part of the same spiritual family. I work together with my brothers and sisters in spirit to bring peace to the world. I choose to express love, patience, and kindness. I share compassion and gratitude with all people and join with those who come together to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and heal the sick. I see nations using the art of non-violent communication and families educating their children in the art of compassion. World peace begins with love.

Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.—Matthew 25:40

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I dwell in the light of Christ and pray from an inner knowing.

When I pray for others, I establish myself in the truth of my being first. I begin by affirming that I have within me all that I need. In the intimacy of prayer, I let go of any negativity or fear and center myself in divine love and compassion. With my consciousness lifted to the mountaintops, it is easy for me to affirm that those I love are also guided on their journeys. When I am established in the truth of who I am, I naturally take joy in knowing the universality of Spirit’s expression through each soul. I experience the one presence lifting me and I know that I am one with infinite love in this upward unfolding. I sense the indwelling light of Christ moving within me and behold the same light in others.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds.—Romans 12:2

Let Go Let God with Strength

I am safely enfolded in the protecting wings of Spirit.

No matter what storms may seem to surround me, I can find a peaceful center of calm. If I feel stressed, I take a few moments to rest in the silence of prayer. My heart is at peace and my mind is free from unnecessary worry. Faith in my higher self dispels any fear, and I feel peace no matter what is going on in my life. I keep my mind centered on the calm peace of my soul. From my sacred center, my actions bring forth powerful results of good. Throughout any life dramas, I draw strength in knowing that I am a divinely created being. I rely on the strength and power of the infinite being I am. I am secure in my divine identity.
You who live in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”—Psalm 91:1-2

Let Go Let God all is in Divine Order

The order of Spirit is always unfolding.

The order of Spirit is always unfolding if I have eyes to see. I may mistakenly focus on appearances. Prayer is not a magic wand but a way for me to change how I see things. I close my eyes and shift my vision to a bigger picture of the activity of the Divine in and through me. I open my mind to new revelations of Spirit’s good. With each breath, divine energy lives as me. I gratefully surrender to the spiritual certainty that my life is in divine order. Like seedlings growing in fertile soil, new thoughts of harmony and abundance take root in my mind. I see with greater clarity the order constantly unfolding.
He changes times and seasons ... he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.—Daniel 2:21

Let Go Let God be at Home

I am home in the peace and presence of Spirit.

When I consider the act of coming home as finding a sacred feeling of comfort and safety, I know that I can rest and renew my spirit wherever I am. I don’t need to go anywhere else to find peace. I am already home. I am home in the peace and presence of Spirit. I center my awareness in my heart, feeling the strength of divine love and peace that is ever-present and always available. A deep sense of gratitude and security fills me. I am home in the peace and presence of Spirit. No matter where I am or with whom, I feel a vibration of gratitude, peace, and love. I reflect those warm feelings into my surroundings with the hope of blessing others. I am home in the peace and presence of Spirit.

God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.—1 John 4:16

Let Go Let God as a Quest

I confidently answer the call to be love.

The difference between a challenge and an adventure is in our attitude and perspective about it. Someone may suggest, “You are lost.” My reply is, “I am just exploring.” I confidently answer Spirit’s call to be more fully the love that I am and to express more of the infinite power of love within me. I am poised for an adventure, and I set the intention to expect good. I view connections with friends or unanticipated discord with others as blessings. Here are opportunities to deepen friendships or gain new insight into avenues for love to express. On any adventure, divine love expresses through me as guidance, wisdom, and compassion, thus assuring my success.
Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord ... that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.—Micah 4:2
