Forgiveness transforms my pain into possibilities.
I
choose to forgive. I no longer want to hold any pain, resentment, or
traumatic memories close to my heart. I let them all go, then I watch as
the emotions transform within me through God’s divine alchemy. I know the past has only as much power as I allow. When I let go and
forgive, I open to new possibilities of peace, harmony, and beauty. When
I forgive, I release the pain that no longer serves or protects me. Forgiveness is a choice. The Christ energy in me, my divine essence,
equips me with the power to forgive others as well as to forgive myself.
I am relieved and grateful when I choose to forgive.
If
anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the
Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.—Colossians 3:13
