I bless and am blessed by my pet.
Pets
teach us about love, understanding, acceptance—and patience! We also
learn about ourselves and our ability to care for another living being.
It is our responsibility and opportunity to provide for them. These dear ones express unconditional love and allow us to give love
in return. They may provide us with safety and protection; certainly
they give us comfort. Perhaps they bring joy as they entertain us with
their personalities. My pet and I are linked. We are in each other’s lives for a reason.
Our bond has grown into a close friendship. I am blessed in countless
ways by my pet.
