I AM a child of God—worthy, wise, healthy, and whole.
I
AM is a name for my divine inheritance and spiritual identity as a
child of God. It is my indwelling life, love, wisdom—my spiritual
essence. My spiritual self is aware of and one with Spirit. My human
self can be influenced by personal will and tempted to go it alone as if
adrift at sea with no compass. Prayer and meditation keep me
centered. I use affirmations as helpful navigation tools to remind me of
my true I AM potential. I choose positive “I AM” statements that
encourage me and are congruent with my spiritual identity. In faith, I affirm: I AM a child of God—worthy, wise, healthy, and whole.
But
Moses said to God, “If I come to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The
God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his
name?’ what shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I am who I
am.”—Exodus 3:13-14
