I discover my inner joy and laughter.
Who
finds it easiest to laugh? Children! Perhaps this is why Jesus
suggested that no one can truly have a spiritual experience without
becoming like a child. When he said, “Let the little children come to me
… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these,” he might have
been speaking to each soul’s need for lightheartedness. Laughter lifts my heart, opens my mind, and leaves my soul receptive
to new guidance and inner direction. Laughter opens me up, makes me
flexible, and lightens my load. Laughter is truly the expression of the
kingdom of heaven. No matter what is going on in my life, I take the
time to laugh!
Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy.—Psalm 126:2
