I breathe and feel my oneness with God and with life.
Breathing
is an automated process, yet conscious breathing—placing attention and
intention to center myself—allows me to focus my energy. I breathe in as I silently count to three. I pause for the count of
one and then exhale for another count of three. I repeat this several
times. This brief time helps me to step away from the busyness of my
day. Breath and energy are intertwined, and conscious breathing allows
me to relax and recognize the magnificence of life. I am breathing, my
heart is beating, and I am alive! Focusing on my breathing gives me a few moments of clarity, and during that precious time, nothing else matters. I breathe and feel my oneness with God and with life.
The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.—Job 33:4
