Spiritual Vision Gives me Clarity.
How I choose to see the world determines my experience of it. I look at myself in the mirror and at my life and at my endeavors with perfect, spiritual vision, and I celebrate my blessings. If I face challenges, I may be tempted to see myself and others through the lens of my inner critic. I pause and breathe deeply and remind myself that I am a traveler on this journey of life and still have much to learn about myself. I refrain from making harsh judgments against my fellow human beings. Becoming calm, I take a deeper, kinder view of myself—my beliefs and behaviors—and lose the temptation to disparage another. I am blessed with the gift of greater clarity.
First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbor’s eye.—Matthew 7:5
