I am an expression of joy.
The
Scottish novelist Robert Louis Stevenson is credited with writing,
“Find out where joy resides, and give it a voice far beyond singing. For
to miss the joy is to miss all.” To have a state of joy throughout the
day, I make myself a conduit for it to move through as I share it
freely. I journey in a new consciousness of life. This day is a time of new
beginnings, and I apply my energies effectively and constructively to
make this the best day of my life. I give voice and action to joy as I
allow God’s presence to work in and through me. I know a happiness and satisfaction that cannot be diminished by circumstances. I am an expression of joy.
For the Lord will comfort Zion … joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the voice of song.—Isaiah 51:3
