I Open Myself To Those I Trust. I draw back the curtains to allow sunlight to enter my home, warm rays casting out darkness. When the weather is pleasant, I open the windows to let in the fresh air. I receive visitors and unlock the doors to welcome them in. In the same way, I share my most tender self with those I trust. I use my divine power of discernment to choose whom I allow to get close and determine a level of openness that feels safe. Being open makes me available to connect with others and to give and receive love. If I feel vulnerable, I remember I can go slowly and share myself gradually as my trust deepens. I rely upon my inner wisdom to guide me. I am cautious but not fearful as I share of myself. For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light—for the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true.—Ephesians 5:8-9 |
