I Imagine Everything I Choose To Be.
Dressing up on Halloween can be a great adventure. Choosing a character, finding a costume, and transforming myself into a new identity—a superhero, a princess, cowboy, or even a favorite animal—is all part of the fun. In the same way, my life is an adventure. I choose who I want to be and how I live in the world. I am so much more than my history, my choices, and the roles I play in life. Like a Halloween costume I can take off, I can also change how I show up in the world, taking off limitation, self-doubt, and insecurity. I then claim my identity as a divine being, the living expression of God. This is my true identity, the enduring, changeless truth of who I am.
Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from God, so that we may understand the gifts bestowed on us by God.—1 Corinthians 2:12
