I Seek the Divine Presence Within My Heart.
For as long as I can remember, I have been a seeker, looking for greater knowledge, wealth, success, or the perfect relationship. Even as I have known the joy of finding, what I was really searching for may have remained beyond my grasp. I recognize at the root of all my seeking was a search for God. As I seek, I am discovering the divine presence at the heart of my own being, where thought and feeling become one. If my spiritual searching feels fruitless or if I feel stuck or frustrated or experience a lack of harmony, I pause for a moment to “feel after God,” as Unity cofounder Charles Fillmore described the process. Refreshed, I return to my daily activities with renewed insight and enthusiasm having finally found what I have sought.
