I Am Willing To Let Go And Let God.
Trying to remain in control of a changing situation can test the limits of my strength and patience. Sometimes, despite my preferences and willfulness, circumstances will shift in unpredictable and even undesirable ways. The more I try to exert control, the more frustrated and exasperated I am going to feel. Before I get to that point, I remind myself that God is in the midst of everything—stability and change, cooperation and discord, order and chaos. Letting go and letting God means I am willing to have faith in the divine presence, willing to trust divine timing, and willing to be patient as divine order unfolds. I give up the illusion of control and become willing to let God be God in and as my life.
Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.—1 Peter 5:7
