Wherever I Am, God Is.
“Wherever I am, God is!” These words from the “Prayer for Protection” are an ongoing reminder that I am never alone. Whether at work, at school, taking part in my favorite leisure activity, or simply relaxing in my favorite spot, I can never be apart from God. I live from this awareness of the power and presence within. I do not fear what tomorrow may bring. As I begin my day, I affirm: Wherever I am, God is. I have faith that everything I do and everywhere I go, I will be in a circle of divine love and wisdom. At the end of my day as I count my blessings, I again affirm: Wherever I am, God is. I give thanks for this truth that carries me through the day and night.
And you will have confidence, because there is hope; you will be protected and take your rest in safety.—Job 11:18
