I Create Beauty And Joy In My Life.
Kids have endless creative energy, drawing pictures freestyle or gaily smearing the spectrum of color inside and outside the lines. Later, when they learn the “proper” way to draw, their efforts might lack the zing of artistic freedom. Perhaps they’ve begun to doubt their divine gift of creativity. Today I reclaim the power to create beauty and joy. I may color inside the lines or beyond them. Creative acts small and large embolden me—whether I arrange flowers to display or design a botanical garden, pen a letter to a friend or write a novel, sing an improvised tune or compose a symphony. I claim my divine gift of creativity and rediscover the joy once felt when scribbling color.
He has filled him with divine spirit, with skill, intelligence, and knowledge in every kind of craft.—Exodus 35:31
