I am Secure in the Love and Light of God.
The light and love of God protect me when anything in my life or in my thoughts causes me to feel unsafe. An unwelcome event or unkind word may have disturbed my equilibrium. Someone may have said or done something to me or someone I love, leaving me with a negative opinion about that person—or myself—or I may be carrying a burden from a past hurt into the present. Letting go feels like a weight lifting from my shoulders; my heart sings as I feel a freedom I have never experienced. The sacred space I create today can carry me through my challenges, tribulations, joys, and celebrations. No harm can befall me as I abide in the trust that is established through my faith in God.
Because you have made the Lord your refuge, the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent.—Psalm 91:9-10
