I Follow my Inner Light to the Good I Seek.
Today is Epiphany, which is celebrated in Christian traditions as the day the Three Wise Men arrived to pay homage to the baby Jesus. As the beautiful story goes, these magi followed a star that led them to Bethlehem. When I bring this story into my own life story, I know that I, too, have a light that guides me—the light of the Christ within. I also have moments of inspiration and clarity—those times when I feel my connection to my inner light most strongly and when the good I seek is revealed to me. I can see each new day as an opportunity for epiphany. Every day I can choose to celebrate my connection to my inner light of God and my openness to new understanding.
Ahead of them went the star that they had seen at its rising … When they saw that the star had stopped, they were overwhelmed with joy.—Matthew 2:9, 10
