I am Renewed and Restored in God.
As I begin a new year, I am reminded of the circle of life: its beginnings, endings, and every experience in between. As I say farewell to 2019, I pray for the highest good for myself, my loved ones, and for all the world. I speak my prayers aloud, with fervor, for 2020. I commit to speaking words of love, hope, prosperity, and Truth. As I do, I become closer in consciousness to God, feeling no separation. I know that within me is the Christ—the light of the world that Jesus described. The happy in “Happy New Year” depends on me. To paraphrase Zig Ziglar, my attitude determines my altitude. I look outward to the year ahead—and inward to my divine self—through the single eye of Spirit. I see oneness and unity as I behold the Christ in all people.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.—Psalm 51:10
